Nothing gold can last forever

Author's Note: This was a poem in the outsiders. I will be writing  about what I think it means.

I think that the poem means that everything good can't last forever. I think this could refer to Darry. He was super athletic, smart, and had scholarships to colleges. He could went but his parents died and he became the guardian of his 2 brothers.

  3. I agree with Gabe, your author's note has a good idea. You had a few excellent points in your piece too.

  4. I think that this is a good piece and nothing is wrong accept for one sentence that I think that does not make sense. "He could went but his parents died and he became the guardian of his 2 brothers." I don't get that part in the beginning were you say "He could went.."
