Author's Note: This is a content essay to my latest project about Global Warming. I am trying to work on adding opinion or reaction, organizing paragraphs, and working on Sentence Structure. If you could give some feed back that would be great.
When is the last time you thought about global warming? Do you even know what it is? It is a big problem and some people aren't doing anything about it and some people think it is natural. Right now Global Warming is one of the biggest problems.
For some odd reason you don't know what Global warming than Global Warming is a increase in the average earth temperature. The earth has been getting hotter and hotter since the mid 20th century. The scientists say it is the concentrated green house gasses, which is continuing to get stronger. One reason this is happening is because human activity, including burning fossil fuels. This is killing the ozone layer of the atmosphere, which is letting more dangerous UV rays from the sun get to the surface of the earth.
Also because of to much sun the ice is melting. Right now the place Global Warming is hitting the worst is in the Arctic. It is getting so hot there, well not hot like 90 degrees but like hot for the arctic, that the ice is melting and the polar bear might go extinct if global warming doesn't stop soon. Also because of global warming the oceans are rising which could drown lower parts of islands. There are many bad things that could happen with Global Warming, but there are to many to explain.
Though there are many bad things that can happen to the Earth, but luckily most of them have had to much of an impact yet. I think that it would be easy to stop global warming as long as everyone would participate. One way we can cut down on pollution by I see some people drive just to a couple houses down. Maybe even if you want to go to restaurant or something, ride your bike. I mean almost everyone has a car now and that is one of the main reasons for Global Warming. To really cut down on cars there would be less pollution and it would save money. For factories they should make machines that would suck up the smoke and make it fresh air and then release the air. Many possible ways to cut down on pollution.
It would be so easy to stop Global Warming. Yes, it is a big problem, but as long as everyone, I mean everyone on this entire planet, could just help a little, we could stop or at least slow down global warming. All you really have to do is ride your bike or walk instead of driving everywhere. Even really little things, if everyone does something it could make a big difference.
Actually, it's Global Climate Change now. And how do we know it's because of us? How do we know this hasn't happened before? I mean, the planet's been around long enough, and if we're just talking about the last century, that's not that long(comparatively). Maybe it is us but if we don't know for sure, we may just be accusing ourselves for nothing.
