Author’s Note: This is a content essay for my latest project on Gatorade. I am working on adding opinion or reaction, sentence structure, and organizing paragraph. If you could give some feedback that would be great.

Have you ever drank Gatorade? Did you ever think what it really does to your body. Does it really help or not. Or even do you even know what is in Gatorade. Besides the sugar, Gatorade really works.

First of all, what do electrolytes do? Electrolytes send electrical impulse through your body and balances them throughout your body. Your need electrical impulse to contract and move your muscles. If your electrolytes balance get really really low you could get problems like kidney problem first symptoms headache and fatigue. That is only if it is a huge imbalance.

The problem with Gatorade is that there is quiet a bit of sugar in it. From my experiences with Gatorade and football. Since the beginning of football is so hot you usually bring about a gallon of water. So one time I brought Gatorade instead of water. It was so much all the sugar gave me a stomach ache. That practice didn’t go very well.

Gatorade does help unless you drink a lot of it. The electrolytes is good, but the sugar isn’t. Also you should drink to much because to much electrolytes could be bad. So if you are tired drink Gatorade, but if you are thirsty drink water.

Author's note: This is a scientific process paper for my Gatorade project. If you could give me some feedback that would be great.

Problem: Joey and I wanted to find out if Gatorade really helped you with energy and keep you going throughout the entire 15 minutes.

Hypothesis: I think that Gatorade will work better than the water, because though I've had problems with the stomach aches, because of the sugar. One other thing is that the Gatorade has prime, so that will give me some energy right away. I think that Gatorade is for energy and water is for thirsty.

Experimental Design: Materials:
-Treadmill
-2 16 oz of Original Gatorade
-2 Pouches of Gatorade Prime
-2 16 oz of Water
-Matt & Joey

Variables:
CV: Treadmill Speed, Gatorade Amount, and Location.
IV: Matt & Joey.
DV: Same Amount of Water and Gatorade.

Procedure: First we started with the Gatorade we drank the Gatorade prime 15 minutes before we ran. Then I started to run for 15 minutes. After that Joey ran. Later after 3 hours we came back down to the treadmill and I started to run. Then Joey ran and that was the end of our experiment.

Observation: We looked at the results and saw that the heart rate didn't change much the only really difference was how we felt after the tests. It seems like the Gatorade worked a lot better than the water and I think me and Joey both agree.

Conclusion: The Gatorade worked a lot better than water, because the Gatorade prime really help because it gave you so much energy you jittery. For the Water I didn't have any fun on that one. But still like I said I got a stomach ache about 10 minutes in, but surprisingly for the water I got a cramp only 5 minutes in.
